  graag jullie hulp bij twee kleine probleempjes:

  … de hele omgeving wakker houden …

  … keep the whole surrounding awake … (moet het niet surroundings zijn?)

  … dit soort zaken …

  … this kinds of things … (is het niet: this kind of things, these kinds of things)

  Ik vind het sowieso niet mooi/natuurlijk klinken.

  Ik zou voor ‘the entire neighourhood’ kiezen. Dit is overigens BE spelling. Amerikanen gaan voor neighborhood.

  'These matters/matters like this' lijkt me beter. Hangt ook een beetje, zoals altijd, van de context af…

  het is een avond van spelfouten….en helaas kunnen we nog steeds niet editen:

  'neighbourhood', inclusief b uiteraard!

  if you want to keep it informal

  'these kind of things' (things is plural. Therefore it should be these)
