engels interviewtje

  • Toni

Ik heb hieronder een paar vragen staan voor een kort interview met een Chinese jongen die hier in nederland studeert. Er staan vast nog wel fouten in. Zou iemand deze voor mij aan willen geven als dit zo is?

    Personal questions

What is your country of origin?

    How old are you?

What is your reason for staying here?

For how long do you stay here?

    Cultural questions

Are there daily rituals in your country, wich we don’t know here?

Do people dress differently in your country, compared with Holland?

Is there a difference in the way they serve meals compared how we do it here?’

What kind of food is normal in your country (like potatoes here)?

What do people do in the weekends?

Do people from your country visit churches or mosques often?

    Business questions

How is the welfare in your country?

How do you greet when you meet someone in businesslife?

What are the usual working times in your country?

Is the salary higher of lower than in Holland? Can you give examples?

Do you have as many holidays there as in Holland?

When someone is sick, and he/she can’t work, does the company owner have to pay through?

  • Jolo

Ik verbeter alleen de zinnen die anders moeten:

How long do you intend to stay here?

Are there daily rituals in your country, that we don't know about here?

Do people dress differently than we do, in your country?

Is there a difference in the way you serve meals, compared to how we do it?

Do people from your country often visit a church or a mosque?

What do people do at the weekend?

How do you greet people you do business with?

What are the normal working hours in your country?

Are salaries higher or lower than in Holland?

Do you have as many holidays ( breaks) as we do in Holland?

When someone is off work sick, does the company continue to pay his salary?

    succes ermee!

    groet, Jolo

Eerlijk gezegd merk ik dat het vaak makkelijker praat met niet-Engelssprekende buitenlanders, als je juist ‘potjes-engels’ gebruikt…..
